What I’ve Been Watching: Ada Nicodemou

Home & Away star is a fan of Animal Kingdom, Billions & occasionally the Real Housewives franchise.

Home & Away‘s Ada Nicodemou is a fan of Animal Kingdom, Billions and occasionally the Real Housewives franchise.

Here’s what else is on her watch list:

What’s on your Must See TV list lately and why?
My son Johnas is a massive Swans fan so we’re always watching AFL on Channel Seven. I also catch up on Home and Away on 7Plus. At the moment, I’m getting through Animal Kingdom on Netflix and I’m really enjoying it. I’m currently on the second season. I love Billions and a whole lot of different documentaries, like 7 Days Out.

What are your Guilty Pleasure shows?
Real Housewives of Beverley Hills and Real Housewives of New York City – If I’ve had a really stressful day, I just have to watch an episode before I do anything else. I enjoy seeing what they’re wearing, what their houses look like, where they holiday, etc.

What show you would secretly love to appear on?
A sitcom – something like Will and Grace or Friends.

When you settle down for a night on the couch what are your ‘must-haves?’
I love Greek yoghurt with a little bit of honey and nuts. I could also go for a bowl of raspberries or a cheese platter.

You’ve been on Home and Away since 2000. What keeps you on the show and what can we look forward to for Leah?
I’m never bored. I feel like I’m constantly challenged, and I get to work with amazing people who I love seeing every day. In the storyline coming up for Leah, she’s finally letting her hair down, having a bit of fun and putting herself first with her new romance with Justin (James Stewart)

Home and Away airs 7pm Monday – Thursday on Seven.

    1. What I’ve Been Watching is a recent addition to the site, and appears as an occasional post. It’s designed to do some or all of these: a) create viewing discovery ideas; b) insight into the author; c) help create posts around upcoming shows and storylines; d) add a presence for shows which may not have had recent posts. I’ve found that the mention of some shows people watch leads to further discussion or viewing ideas for readers. Accepting that not everybody will be interested in every post the site has always offered a mix of heavy / light posts. A sense of fun is important for a blog.

      1. Thanks David, I don;t usually read these, but I may go back and view the others I have missed. As always you are keeping the blog fresh with new styles of posts. Once again thank you.

    2. I personally really enjoy these posts….more than often surprised at what these folk watch in their down time at home…and I do find them interesting…each to their own…

    3. These posts are often interesting, depending on the celebrity featured. All part of the variety of this wonderful site. Keep up the good work David, much appreciated ☺

  1. Leah was one of my favourites when I used to watch Home and Away.

I remember her and Steph Scully (Carla Bonner) started around the same time (1999 I think for Carla) and both were voted two of the most popular characters around the world throughout the 2000s.

  2. Lol. ” finally letting her hair down, having a bit of fun with her new romance”…Leah has slept with nearly all the male cast members, is Alf even safe ? 😉

    1. Your prob joking but actually Leah hasn’t slept with any current male cast members aside from Justin. The last real relationship she’s had is her marriage to Zac.

    1. Yes, she was teen in Heartbreak High in the 90s. Peta Topano was her mother in that and also in Home and Away. I don’t watch Home and Away anymore, but I don’t think she’s had any visitors from family members in years.
