30 / 30 perfect score wins Immunity pin

Sandeep Pandit wowed the judges and becomes the one to beat.

MasterChef Australia contestant Sandeep Pandit, wowed the judges last night to receive a perfect 30 / 30 score and an Immunity pin.

Sandeep cooked a lemon-flavoured crayfish masala, enough to beat out the professional chef, 2012 season winner Andy Allen.

The 37 year old IT Project Manager from Victoria is now the one to beat in this year’s season.

While it wasn’t the first-ever 30 / 30 score for the show he went one better than 2015’s Reynold Poernomo who also scored drew a perfect score in immunity challenge but didn’t win the pin, because it was a pairs challenge and his teammate didn’t score enough to beat 2 professionals.

  1. Good on Sandeep, he’s been fantastic so far. And, Andy Allen – while he seems like a decent enough guy. He was one of the winners from those dark few years of Masterchef when it went all MKR and seemed to be more about the drama and characters than the cooking. Thankfully that didn’t last.
