Children of the Snow explores these baffling, unsolved crimes which sparked one of the biggest manhunts in US history. As a young boy living in Detroit at the time, author J. Reuben Appelman believes he may have narrowly escaped being another victim. Now he’s on a quest for the truth, interviewing family members and others involved, following new leads to uncover new documents and witnesses. In a gripping true-crime series that is still unfolding, Appelman separates fact from fiction and investigates whether money, power, and politics prevented justice as he attempts to unravel the truth.
