A casting notice has gone out for an unnamed Travel Adventure Series to be produced by Eureka Productions (The Voice, The Chef’s Line, Drunk History, Australian Spartan).
“We are looking for personality packed teams of two to take part in a competitive reality travel series
full of great prizes to be won! You will need both mental and physical strength to win this fun-filled and action-packed adventure,” it states.
“Think about which friend, family member, co-worker or companion you would work best with, to push each other to your absolute best, and come out winners. ”
While it sounds a lot like The Amazing Race, that may not be the case given it was previously produced by activeTV and the description notes “great prizes” as opposed to its series prize.
Given the success of Travel Guides this could be an original concept.
Either way you’ll need a passport and better get crackin’ …applications close May 31.

Active didn’t produce Season 3. They only did 1 and 2.
The good ones! Info was correct tho, I didn’t indicate only by activeTV.
Hey DK, is it common for them to ask for my passport number in an application before its even really necessary? I just feel like I’m giving them my identity on a plate…
Don’t recall seeing this before, but not really something I am looking for. Discuss it with them via the email contact they provide?
This is no original concept, come on …its either TAR or a rip off.
But we don’t know what the concept is yet. Doesn’t Survivor also fit the brief? So did The Big Adventure. Let’s wait…
Ooh please be Tara. Sounds like it. Prizes at each leg.
If not a new concept could be good
Yes! I want TAR back…
I still firmly believe that is TAR!
The words ‘pre-existing relationships’ and filming periods (5 weeks), remind me of TAR’s filming…
Yes it does!
Prizes (plural as indicated in the casting pitch) could still be Amazing Race as the winner in each leg got a prize.
I agree it still sounds like TAR. They have prizes at the end of each leg
