Daytime Emmy Awards 2019: winners

Wins for The Young and the Restless, The Ellen DeGeneres Show & Jeopardy.

Call it a sign of the times, but this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards were not broadcast on US television, but streamed on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

The Young and the Restless won the top Drama award, with other wins for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, General Hospital, and Family Feud.

Alex Trebek (pictured) 78, who announced in March he has advanced pancreatic cancer, got a standing ovation as he accepted an Emmy Award as host of Jeopardy.

This year there were also nominees from YouTube, Facebook and Netflix.

  1. Outstanding Younger Actor/Actress in a Drama Series “ouch” hahahaha do they actually act in daytime tv isn’t it just withering glances, oh and fish lips and filler!

  2. It was so good to actually see the daytime Emmys on YouTube
We were never able to see it here before when they televised in the USA .. so wish that General Hospital was shown here. So good that they won
