  1. I am happy to just see some more evened out rating percentages….
I never watch The Drum on ABC….I mostly listen to one of the many repeats on ABC News…I frequently have that on 2nd screen….
    24 Hours in A & E/Emergency….I think was new…sadly I dozed through most of it…

  2. ‘The Good Fight’ is just bloody brilliant this season… what incredibly well-made television… Michael Sheen is superb.

As fans of ‘Pointless’ we are continuing our protest lol Will not be tuning into ‘Celebrity Name Game’… we went away a few weeks ago so we have some un-watched episodes of ‘Pointless’ to enjoy… hope they find the space to bring it back somewhere.

Will probably catch one of the 37 repeats (sorry ‘encores’) of ‘5 Bedrooms’ over the weekend.

  3. Because of the amount of ads House Rules ran Tues Night, decided to time them last night. HR total was 1hr 34 mins, made up of 63 mins viewing time, and 31 mins ads. Is it any wonder why people are not watching shows live anymore?

  4. Tenplay has confirmed that Five Bedrooms episodes are only 45 minutes long.

Crikey! I’ve watched longer episodes of online-only programs

  5. re 5 bedrooms; I found the first 25 minutes rather boring, and was rather annoyed that when the show started to get interesting they jammed it full of ads. Won’t watch it live again, I’ll probably binge it ad free once the season concludes.

  6. Surprised at how much i liked 5 bedrooms. Quite a few genuine laugh out loud moments especially with the Doris Younane character and her husband. Doesn’t come across as corny or as unrealistic as i thought ot could.

      1. I agree….I really enjoy watching her work….only on screen….I have not seen stage shows for many years….Like many actors…she has interesting back stories also…

    1. The wife had it on so caught the first half before we I went and found something better to do (which wasn’t hard). Thought it was terrible. Ludicrously absurd premise, poorly executed. Not sure which was worse, the writing or the acting. Yet another example of how bad we are at commercial tv drama.
