With all the crew, and post-production team working on Game of Thrones, you’d think someone would have noticed the coffee cup sitting in front of actress Emilia Clark in the 4th episode of the season.
There’s an awful lot of eyes on this show before it ever sees the light of day, how did nobody notice it? After all, they only had 2 years to put this season together!

Maybe the scene ended up using some rehearsal footage, that’s the only reason I can think actors went into action while it still sat there.

This one is reminiscent of that water bottle that was spotted in a scene from Downtown Abbey.

HBO should send a revised copy of this recent episode without the coffee cup to all the shows broadcasters, considering the cost of the production it shouldn’t be an issue. The coffee came from a local Irish boutique coffee shop according to afternoon ABC radio, Starbucks got far too much credit. Hopefully there wasn’t any pranking going on among the actors, maybe even a bet perhaps.
If that was in the actual episode, they could just as easily remove it with the magic of VFX.
Even in Westeros, a Starbucks on every corner is hard to resist…
