I know a lot of fans have been waiting for this one..
I’m pleased to confirm Line of Duty S5 will premiere in Australia on 13th Street at 8.30pm on Friday 21 June.
Written by Jed Mercurio (Bodyguard) this has been the biggest drama so far this year in the UK.
This is a 6 part season, including a 90 minute finale, which screened in the UK from late March.

I could not agree more about the lack of closed captions on Line of Duty. It is an insult to people who have a hearing disadvantage. Come on Foftel 13th Street, look after your loyal viewers.
Have watched the past four series with closed captions. Recorded the first episode of Series 5 last night Friday June 21 on 13th Street on Foxtel but no closed captions. I need them as I’m sure many other hearing impaired people do.
Agree this is very important.
What about on free to air tv? Any ideas when it will be on there?
No, but I doubt this year.
This should be on BBC First not 13th Street
I found this to be the weakest season so far. The final two episodes were decent, but I found myself uninterested in the storyline leading up to those episodes.
Line of Duty is heavily Police procedure and I have only seen the first half of episode one which made me think the plot was borrowing some action themes from the Bodyguard, but that’s not so bad if the story is consistent.
I have seen this season already – great stufff
Agreed. Loved it. I thought it was stronger than season 4!
