  1. I am really enjoying this season of Harrow ..I think this season is better than the 1st one
Great ABC hope it gets a third season 🙂

  2. With these Demos 25-54, 18-49 and 16-39. Where do people in their 30’s up to 38 fit? Apologies for my ignorance, but not sure I understand this. Thanks.

  3. It always amuses me that 10 gets the younger demographic and Nine the older….I am older than any of the demographics but spent my night watching 10….The only show I watch on Nine is New Amsterdam, and then I record it to watch later.

  4. Hi David,
Are the ch7 AFL figures a combination of 2 games, different games & times broadcast into Melb, Adelaide & Perth for both Sat & Sun , why only one figure shown ? where as Foxtel figures are based on individual games.

    1. Outside of Melbourne, the other markets always get their local teams on free-to-air. So Seven’s “AFL” entry for yesterday is:

      Sydney: GWS game
      Melbourne: St Kilda vs Carlton
      Brisbane: Lions game
      Adelaide: same game as Melbourne
Perth: same game as Brisbane (Fremantle)

      1. With Lions vs Dockers game starting at 5pm est., seems the Brisbane figures were counted as evening as they got a 0 viewership by the ratings page, so the arvo one was for the other 4 capitals.

    2. Also same thing often happens with 7Mate as well, like yesterday because the AFL game in Brisbane went to 8pm they got The Simpsons then 8:30pm Thor and 10:50pm Zero Dark Thirty. Where as the other 4 capitals got 5:40pm Godzilla, 8:30pm Thor and 10:50pm Safe, sometimes like last week it is flipped as well. Where as Sydney got Guardians of the Galaxy and then The Fantastic Four the other 4 got The Fantastic Four and then Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s why most Sunday’s 7Mate hovers between the 5.0 – 6.0 mark each week (similar happens on Saturday’s as well).

  5. With less viewers overall watching free-to-air TV year-on-year, I’m surprised the networks haven’t moved to the US style reporting of shares in the demo, rather than total viewers. As many would know, the US networks report on their share in the 18-49 demo, rather than viewership. If Seven, Nine and 10 started reporting their numbers in that vein, things would surely look more healthy from a PR perspective (ie. the top 20 programs would omit ABC and SBS most nights, entertainment shows would rise higher over news, etc.)

    1. WIN sales people tend to sell the demographics. MasterChef beats The Voice in 16-39, in Top 5 16-54 and House Rules nowhere to be seen yet overall House Rules beats MasterChef.

      1. Don’t know why they don’t have an over 55 demographic. The buying power of the baby boomers is enormous these days. Guess who lives in their homes apart from them?? Yep Gen X and Ys lol
