Tracy Grimshaw: “That’s what happens with leaks, Pauline.”

Pauline Hanson was tearful and angry with Nine in a confronting interview on A Current Affair.

Tracy Grimshaw has defended an explosive story on A Current Affair which led to the resignation of One Nation candidate Steve Dickson.

Pauline Hanson was tearful and angry with Nine asking if it paid for the footage and questioning why it was released on the cusp of the federal election.

“I’m so upset Tracy, I’ve worked for this for 23 years,” she said.

“I just feel I keep getting kicked in the guts, time and time again. And it all happens right before an election. Why were these tapes held for seven months before being released?”

But Grimshaw quietly defended its use.

“That’s what happens with leaks,”  she said.

  1. The only reason i feel a tiny bit sorry for Pauline is because i think she has very little intellect, one only has to look at the revolving rogues gallery of her co party members over the last 20 years. At the very least she must be a fairly lousy judge of character. Also, however it does pain me to say so, i feel she has a point She went to jail (after a relentless campaign by Tony Abbott) for her crimes, how many other politicians have?
Back to topic though, whatever you think of Pauline she rates well so kudos to ACA for the interview i guess.

    1. As much as I dislike her policies and beliefs, I must agree with you that her imprisonment was not in proportion with the alleged offence, and it reeked of political interference in the Justice system. If it can happen to her it can happen to anyone. How she forgave Abbott for his involvement is beyond me.

      1. her forgiveness of Tony is further proof she is incredibly naive. I remember when she got out of jail she was being interviewed & said she said she had alot of innocent friends in jail…..ok Pauline, their all innocent, that’s why they’re there lol

  2. So much group-think from commentators exhibited here. People unaware the volume of propaganda that is required to prop up their conception of moral right and wrong, and the degree it differs from everyone not in their bubble (the huge majority of people on Earth who remain in tune with their ancestral knowledge & biology).

The Chinese have a term for the modern (leftist-centrist) Western conception of rights as exhibited by commentators here: Baizou. Crazy Western Whites worshipping at an unsustainable alter of false equality & human rights. Independent thinkers are few.

    1. I base my disdain for Pauline on the way she judges minorities. There is good and bad in every race and religion. I judge people as I find them, and I’ve met Pauline and heard her hateful rhetoric.

  3. Selfishness personified. She and her followers are traitors to our great country. She babbles on and on about there being “terrorism on our streets”, yet secretly attempts to import mass shootings from the US, a model that we should steer well clear from.

She whinges about people “rorting the system” when the bulk of her career, in which she has done little to no good for the prosperity of the Australian people, is funded by the taxpayer.

No remorse or repentance ever from her or her ilk. Like petulant children, they only “cry” when they get caught.

  4. The problem is the inability to ensure that dealings and interactions are legitimate and honest to prevent leaks from causing damage.

  5. Hanson’s moral wretchedness sickens me. So glad to see Tracy lay it on the line with her. The only thing to credit Hanson with is agreeing to this interview but it just showcases how narcissistic and blind she is.

  6. 23 years and she has learnt nothing. I have zero sympathy for the woman or her party. If anything I’m surprised Dickson wasn’t promoted.

    1. No, I’m struggling to feel any sympathy for her at all. I do however feel sorry for the minority groups she and her supporters have directed hate towards.

        1. I never watch ACA …. tabloid trash generally but last nights interview was gut wrenching. No matter what you think of her politics she is an amazing woman with tremendous resolve.

          1. yes amazingly stupid & naive, an insult to women in general really….

  7. Anyone would think it’s only ever happened to her Party. They did the same thing to the NSW Labor Leader one week before the election when it had happened back in Oct. You’re in politics Pauline. That’s what they do.

  8. Bit rich blaming 9 for this. Wouldn’t be in this situation if you did a better job of looking into and managing your staff Pauline.
