The revived Veronica Mars season with Kristen Bell consists of 8 episodes and takes place 5 years after the events of the 2014 movie.

TV Line reports original cast members Kristen Bell, Enrico Colantoni, Ryan Hansen, Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra, David Starzyk, Max Greenfield and Adam Rose return, while the ensemble also includes Dawnn Lewis (A Different World), J.K. Simmons (Counterpart) and Kirby Howell-Baptiste (The Good Place).

It premieres July 26th in the US on Hulu. An Australian broadcaster is yet to be confirmed.
