Very good numbers for the cricket. David, could you please tell me if that 356,000 metro viewers is the average over the 5 hours to midnight or not. If it is, what would the number of viewers between
say 7.30 and 9.30 have been. Thanks.
7:30 – 11.
You know 10% or above is imoressive for a mumti-channel when we’re lucky to get it once a year (AFL Anzac eve game 2018 and 2017)! So in that regard it works well for Nine, also gives 9Gem’s usually very old skewing demographics a young boost.
I get Ch9 have ‘lost’ the rest of the cricket to Ch7 (though Nine sill have rights to Ashes to come soon) but still find it bizarre not to say a missed opportunity ratings-wise that Nine didn’t screen an Aussie cricket match on the ‘main’ channel…. looking at last night’s Ch9 Melb schedule it’s not as if they had a strong schedule (repeats of RPT and other emergency factual).
I wonder why they didn’t show the cricket on 9 last night ,no NRL and there are a few games that could do this in prime time , especially Saturday night ,how much better would it rate.
On a quick note it’s time to go HD on GEM or GO ,it’s pathetic that’s it’s 2019.
I’m still waiting for Channel 9 to start screening sport in 3D
Didn’t they try that once? For the Olympics or Commonwealth Games or something like that, then they shut it down after the event.
yes lol
GEM & GO! are are available in HD….. log onto 9now.com.au
thanks!
Really , i didn’t know that , thought was only SD , thanks for the heads up ?
Jeez, that would have to be Masterchefs lowest ever figure wouldn’t it? I don’t understand what’s turned viewers off so much this year. My guess is possibly format fatigue?
There’s just too much of it. 1-1.5 hours every episode, 5 nights a week is it? It’s just too much – how many people can afford to keep up with that every night?
Same way they kept up with MAFS
Yes, I agree with you. I feel the episodes should be capped at about an hour and it should be for four night a weeks with ‘exclusive’ episodes or extras on 10 Play for those who wish to watch more…
Looks like you accidentally put News Breakfast’s numbers in instead of Studio 10.
I did.. .fixed, thx.
