  1. I find it totally unbelievable that ratings people said 283k watched the game in Melbourne and only 200k watched Master Chef. In our office we have 26 people working and not one person watched the Rugby half watched Master Chef or House Rules the rest watched Netflix or other platforms. Do they just guess what they think the ratings should be?

    1. Which is why the OzTam boxes are spread out over different lifestyles as if it was just as you say based on people in the same work enviroment then it would be very tainted. It’s akin to me saying I was at the pub Wednesday night and I can’t believe the ratings for State of Origin where so low in Melbourne as of the 100 plus there 90% where watching State Of Origin (and take that across all pubs).

I mean think about it’s your 26 people watching and maybe a few similar versus a higher amount that would be out in pubs across Melbourne. Okay sure those audiences aren’t counted in pubs as your work colleagues aren’t either, but as a sample of people across a major city based on those two things it’s easy to see how 273,000 would be about right.

  2. I’m not surprised it only got 273,000 in Melbourne as it was the strangest episode of Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation I’ve ever seen, what where Shaun and Co thinking making it so New South Wales and Queensland centric. I tuned in to see a battle between Creationists and Evolutionists and got something else, like a cross between Chess and Draughts with real people dressed like advertising billboards as the pieces, hope it doesn’t turn people off watching Yo Gen next week.

  3. i haven’t watched origin for years its stupid , robs clubs of talent and now today’s paper the knights coach will rest his origin players from this round , sorry but the club pays hundreds of thousands of dollars for them to play for the club

  4. It was good the game could go ahead after the stadium appeared to catch fire during the pregame entertainment. Couldn’t see Briggs through all the smoke.

  5. Watched MasterChef last night and it was a great episode in Noosa. Queensland week is great. Watching The Project sometimes as well they have a good variety of news.

  6. There was no sport in our house. MasterChef is as good as ever, Anh’s Brush With Fame with Deb Hutton was fascinating then we discovered Qi has been programmed later than we were used to so looks like we’ve got some episodes to catch up on iView there.
