Ratings: Home & Away helps Seven to another win, as the nation's favourite local drama.

Home and Away continues to lead the local scripted pack averaging 654,000 viewers last week. That was Seven’s best performing brand outside of News & House Rules.

Harrow was next best local scripted at 501,000 then Five Bedrooms (435,000), Mr. Black (318,000 / 271,000), The Letdown (312,000) and Kinne Tonight (307,000). Neighbours averaged 120,000 on 10 Peach. The top rated international was The Big Bang Theory on 578,000.

Seven won another week in Total People, now just one week behind Nine in weeks won.

But while Seven won 16-39, Nine scored 25-54.

Seven won Wednesday to Saturday. Nine claimed Monday to Tuesday. ABC bettered 10 on Friday & Saturday.

Seven led in Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. Nine held Sydney & Brissy.

Nine: The Voice (1.1m), Nine News (Sun: 1.09m), A Current Affair (741,000) and 60 Minutes (678,000).

10: Have You Been Paying Attention? (718,000), MasterChef Australia (Wed: 714,000), The Project (7pm: 463,000) and Five Bedrooms (433,000).

ABC: Anh’s Brush with Fame (683,000), ABC News (Sun: 677,000), Back Roads (631,000) and The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (574,000).

  1. Neighbours should return to 10. At 6pm. It has been and continues to be a cash cow for 10 and revamping it then promoting the crap out of it should help revitalize the evening lineup.

  3. Absolutely agree neighbours should return to 10, either 6pm or 6:30. The project doesn’t really need to be an hour given 10 news is from 5-6 kind of feels like news fatigue. 10 could make neighbours a real contender again. The show needs a bit of a revamp though I like the new rating but they need to find a happy medium between neighbours of old and the B&B

  4. Will Neighbours ever make a return to 10? Part of me thinks they could promote it as the revival of Neighbours seeing as so many people seem to think it’s not even going anymore lol
