ABC, Seven and Nine will cover the State Memorial Service for Bob Hawke tomorrow at the Sydney Opera House.
ABC coverage begins from 10:30am on ABC / ABC News AEST.
Tune in to the ABC this Friday, June 14, to farewell Australia’s longest-serving Labor Prime Minister and national icon, the Honourable Robert James Lee Hawke AC.
The State Memorial Service of the political giant will take place at the Sydney Opera House where hundreds will gather to celebrate his remarkable life.
ABC’s television coverage will begin at 10:30am AEST on ABC TV and ABC NEWS with commentary from Michael Rowland and Jeremy Fernandez. It will be simulcast live to every state on ABC TV, and internationally on ABC Australia.
Nine’s coverage takes place from 11:15 am – 1:00 pm AEST live in all states.

Seven will also broadcast commercial-free coverage begin from 11.30am AEST.
Presenter Michael Usher and senior network reporter Chris Reason will lead the national broadcast honouring the extraordinary life of the political giant.
The service will take place at the Sydney Opera House and include tributes from Mr Hawke’s family and Australia’s most powerful political figures.
The commercial-free coverage will begin from 11.30am (Friday 14th June, 2019) on Channel 7.
