First look at Apple TV's upcoming space drama.

Apple TV has released a trailer for is upcoming space drama For All Mankind.

Developed by Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander), the series examines the space race between the United States and Russia in the 1960s and 1970s, but with a twist. According to Moore, the series explores, “What if the global space race had never ended?”

The cast features Joel Kinnaman, Aussie Michael Dorman and Sarah Jones.

No date has been announced for the series but it the platform is expected in Spring.

  1. I love anything about the space race and this new Apple+ release looks very promising, especially with an alternative universe theme (there’s plenty of those recently) though whether it will attract many pay to view viewers, we shall have to wait and see.
    The streaming app business looks to be multiplying and restructuring itself to meet an increasing market demand, how viewers are going to sort out their pay to view budgets will depend a lot on sensible pricing and quality and quantity of content including the availability of 4K and HDR10. It’s notable that Netflix have increased their pricing in the UK and USA which could mean a $5 increase for their premium content in Australia in the near future.
