Suits favourite Patrick J. Adams will reprise his role in the final season.
He will return as ‘Mike Ross’ mid-season to get involved in a case that will put him toe to toe with his former mentor Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl).
Adams departed the show in its seventh season, leaving the firm to move to Seattle with his wife, Rachel (Meghan Markle).
It was announced in January that the upcoming ninth season of Suits would be the show’s last.
Comprising 10 episodes it screens in Australia same day as the US, Thursday July 18, on Universal.
