Returning: Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown

It's a late-night slot for the last-ever season of the late celebrity chef on Discovery.

The final season of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown featuring the late celebrity chef will finally screen on Discovery.

The 7 part series was filmed in Kenya, Spain, Indonesia and the USA.

But disappointingly it has been given a late night timeslot, so this is one for your PVR.

This aired in the US last September through CNN.

Discovery Channel pays tribute to the legacy of culinary legend and ambassador of the world, Anthony Bourdain, with the final season of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. The series embodies his passion for uncovering hidden gems in seemingly-familiar areas of the world, celebrating diverse cultures through food and dining rituals and, most importantly, sharing these stories to inspire people to seek out their own adventures. This bittersweet season sees the well-loved icon travel to the untamed land of Big Bend, Texas near the Mexican border – an area that pits man against nature and in which the land usually wins. He joins chef and humanitarian Jose Andres as he returns to his homeland in the enchanted region of Asturias, Spain. While in Indonesia, a country comprised of thousands of islands whose people have endured political turmoil, Bourdain discovers that food is the great unifier. And he takes a personal journey through this formerly bohemian New York City neighbourhood, as he meets, shares meals and reflects with music, film and art trailblazers. In the first episode Bourdain introduces his colleague W. Kamau Bell (United Shades of America), to the distinctive sights, tastes, and sounds of Kenya. It’s Bell’s first trip to the African continent, and to a country that holds a personal connection for him.

11.20pm Sunday July 7 on Discovery.
