State of Origin II: guide

State of Origin takes place on Sunday, for the first time in its history in Perth.

Game II of the State of Origin takes place tomorrow night, for the first time in its history in Perth.

After the Queensland Maroons win at SoO I, NSW Blues need to win at Optus Stadium if they have any shot at the series.

Maroons coach Kevin Walters has made only two changes to his side, with forwards Tim Glasby and Jarrod Wallace slotting in as injury replacements for Joe Ofahengaue and Jai Arrow.

In contrast, NSW coach Brad Fittler has made seven changes to the team beaten 18-14 in Game I. Blake Ferguson, James Maloney, Tom Trbojevic, Dale Finucane, Wade Graham, Tariq Sims and Daniel Saifiti join the Blues, while young Roosters star Latrell Mitchell has been controversially dropped.

Ray Warren will call the epic encounter, along with Paul Vautin, Andrew Johns, Phil Gould, Johnathan Thurston, Billy Slater, Paul Gallen, Darren Lockyer, Peter Sterling, Sam Thaiday and Wally Lewis commentating and analysing the action.

Viewers will continue to have unprecedented access to the game, with four supplementary streams available on 9Now in addition to the game itself. These include Spidercam, NSW coaches box, QLD coaches box, and the innovative Referee Cam, allowing fans to see and hear everything referee Ashley Klein does on the field.
