Airdate: Lights Out with David Spade

David Spade fronts a daily show breaking down pop culture news -without straying into politics.

New US chat show Lights Out with David Spade is coming to the Comedy channel later this month.

Screening express from the US, this sees actor / comedian front a daily show breaking down pop culture news without straying into politics.

Comedy icon David Spade hosts a new nightly 30 minute series where a rotating group of his comedian and celebrity friends will break down the pop culture news of the day. It will also include field pieces that mirror Spade’s Instagram stories of which he has 1.5 million followers, and featuring his signature take on the pop culture news of the day. Spade stated “There will be no politics – mostly because I’m too stupid, I went to community college. We’re going to cover everything: pop culture, whatever’s funny, whatever’s stupid, whatever’s dumb. It’ll be me and my stupid friends.” The purpose is to be a reprieve from the political noise that exists in today’s world.

Tuesdays to Fridays from July 30 at 10.00pm on Comedy.

  1. I’m a bit confused.
It’s on “the Comedy channel” and on “Tuesdays to Fridays from July 30 at 10.00pm on Comedy”.
Is it on Comedy Central or The Comedy Channel?
One is on Fetch – Channel 110 – (as well as internet on cc.com) , the other on foxtel?
