Axed: Now Apocalypse

Gregg Araki comedy has been axed after just one season.

US comedy Now Apocalypse has been axed by Starz after just one season.

Starz COO Jeffrey Hirsch said at the Television Critics Association press tour he was happy with the quality of the Gregg Araki series but opted not to bring it back.

The Hollywood Reporter cites minuscule on-air ratings, averaging only 89,000 viewers for their first episode.

It aired in Australia on Stan.

  1. A shame. I liked this quirky series. It wasn’t amazing, but certainly enjoyable. It lost its way and an already bonkers sub plot became completely bonkers later in the season, which lost a few points for me.
