Emmy Awards 2019: biggest snubs

Sorry Richard Madden, George Clooney, Julia Roberts & the cast of The Good Fight.

So another year of Emmy nods have been announced, and once again there were some big omissions (newsflash, there will always be big omissions).

There’s much talk about Game of Thrones gaining so much for an uneven, rushed season.

Who else missed out at their expense? Here are some of the snubs attracting chatter in the US.

To be clear Stranger Things, Big Little Lies, and the current season of The Handmaid’s Tale were all outside eligibility.

The Good Fight
Better Things
The Big Bang Theory final season
GLOW
The Masked Singer
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Grace and Frankie
What We Do in the Shadows
Succession cast
Julia Roberts in Homecoming
Richard Madden for Bodyguard
George Clooney & Christopher Abbott in Catch-22
Ian McShane for the Deadwood movie
Jim Carrey in Kidding
Sarah Paulson, American Horror Story: Apocalypse
Eric Bana and Connie Britton for Dirty John
Stephen Dorff in True Detective
Rhea Seehorn in Better Call Saul
Rita Moreno for One Day at a Time
Tracee Ellis Ross, Black-ish
MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore and Dominique Jackson in Pose
Allison Janney in Mom
Jeff Probst, Survivor

  1. Sorry What We Do In The Shadows, Eric Bana and Grace And Frankie (as a show) cant really been seen a snub as they haven’t been nominated for any other major TV awards …
