Friday Flashback: Wipeout Australia
Go Buffman....

Do not try these moves at home. Please.
Before there was Australian Ninja Warrior there was Wipeout Australia, a no-expenses-spared obstacle course in Argentina full of mud and giant inflated balls.
It screened in 2009 narrated by James Brayshaw & Josh Lawson with Kelly Landry on the ground in South America.
We also got the US version here, while 5 million Americans even watched the Aussie edition on ABC (without Brayshaw & Lawson).

I did watch this series when it first aired but had forgot all the contestants. Thanks for the laugh David.
The UK version was a total bore.
Oh, I remember this…I think I only watched one or two episodes and that was it for me! I think I’d rather Ninja Warrior for sure.
I quite enjoyed this show! (said no-one ever!)
I wish this show was brought back…
Didn’t it rate terribly on Nine? These shows don’t work down here
It lasted only 8 episodes, so I assume so.
Thank God I was living overseas then.
The ABC here also screened the UK version, presented/commentated by Richard Hammond in the studio, with Amanda Byram in Argentina.
