I’m a big fan of the US version and believe the Aus version is a quality production, but I won’t watch it. Why, well I gave last season a go and from memory it started out being 2 nights a week and then went to 4. That’s overkill for me and I lost interest pretty quickly. Looking forward to my 1 night a week of the US version when it returns, which for me is the perfect amount.
You defs missed out, could have easily streamed it too when you wanted. Was an awesome season.
Completely disagree. Airing 2-3 times a week means the series plays out in almost real time and with 24 eps in an Aussie season sustaining interest over 6 months would be a big ask.
You also have to look at the market where sadly it is all about reality shows stripped across multiple nights rather than multiple shows in weekly slots like the US.
Oh, thank god! With no end apparent in sight for Masterchef, I was losing hope the ads were anything more than teasers for August. Can’t wait. Also can’t wait for The Bachelor.
So I guess this means MasterChef will have it’s finale on Tuesday 23rd?
That’s my feeling.
Trailer looks good, can’t wait! Also new trailer for The Bach looks great as well, apparently the bachelor speaks many languages.
Interesting… does this mean the Bachelor will be on sun-mon this year? Or will they move survivor around?
10 have absolutely nailed the look and feel of this version. Cannot wait to get stuck into it!
