Renewed: How to Stay Married

Pete Helliar and Lisa McCune comedy begins filming second season next month.

Peter Helliar comedy series How to Stay Married has been renewed for a second season.

A Network 10 spokesperson told TV Tonight: “We are thrilled to welcome Pete Helliar, Lisa McCune, and the gang, back for another season of How To Stay Married.

“Production kicks off in Melbourne next month.”

The Princess Pictures and Pablo Pictures co-production, based on an episode of It’s a Date, is created by Helliar.

It screened last November and also featured Darren Gilshenan, Nikki Britton and Phil Lloyd.

10’s recent comedy output has included Mr. Black, Kinne Tonight and Street Smart with Part Time Private Eyes due in September’s Pilot Week.

  1. I like the idea of shows going to air so soon after filming, as is commonplace on U.S. FTA (where the shows are actively in production while the season is airing).

I guess it isn’t completely out of the question that this will premiere in November as well?
