Ex-ABC News presenter Ian Henderson is back on screens next week for Catalyst, as he delivers new research that promises to keep us all younger for longer.
“The Secrets of Healthy Living” is a two part report.
Recently retired ABC newsreader Ian Henderson sets out on a quest to find the secrets of ageing healthily. He discovers that a new understanding of how the trillions of cells in our bodies age could keep us all younger for longer.
He meets Australian scientists working at the cutting edge of ageing biology and learns that their research isn’t JUST about making us live longer, but ALSO about keeping us healthier into old age – improving our ‘healthspan’. They reveal that we can all improve our healthspan by making simple changes to the way we live our lives.
