  1. 1. The Ashes have done pretty well on its primary channel in HD especially for Perth and outrating Adelaide, Brisbane and even Sydney.
    2. Meanwhile Bledisloe Cup rated OK, despite a dreadful match being played in NZ with Wallabies failing to score during the whole match. Wallabies suffered its worst defeat in the Cup.
    3. The Saturday Night NRL failed to fire ratings on 9/9GEM. Unfortunately, Perth viewers didn’t have the post-match NRL. I just don’t know why they haven’t got the post-match on TV, when they instead go to movies in Perth.
    4. 10 News First Hourly bulletin was shown at 6pm in Perth competing against Seven and Nine News! I thought that was the first time that Perth had the 6pm News bulletin on TEN.

    1. Sydney and Brisbane were on 9GEM as the NRL was on 9.

Once Monday comes along you’ll find those will disappear from these ones, same happens with the NRL on Friday and Saturday in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth (AFL stays as 7 don’t separate them like 9 do).

      1. Perth also had the first 90 minutes of the cricket on GEM before switching to Nine HD at 7pm once News finishes. Session 1 rated 42,000 in Perth. Does the 42k count on both 9 and 9GEM in Perth?

        1. Looking at the Ratings Report above it says Session 1 D4 for the 42,000 so maybe for 9GEM, though as 7pm Perth time is 9pm eastern time and Midday London time, then if lunch was taken at 1pm an hour would be on Nine. All I really know is it was on 9GEM in Sydney and Brisbane because of NRL so why figures are low(ish), the 92,000 is nothing to sneeze at though for Perth as AFL also got them 105,000 plus 49,000 watching the Wallabies. Out of it all with The Ashes, AFL and Rugby Test on it’s a lot to divide audiences and really the NRL is the one that seems to have missed out most.

          1. Given that AFL between Fremantle v Essendon was on 7mate in Perth, it was also upscaled in HD on a temporary basis before reverting to SD on Ch73. The Brisbane v Geelong was even shown in 7HD in QLD (given that’s a Fox Footy game, and that Brisbane are playing exceptionally well).

          2. @Shoudy Chen: If you look now it has all changed and that happens for Fri, Sat, Sun each week late Monday’s, generally for NRL however with The Ashes that as well for now.. Nine Sydney and Brisbane now have zero for The Ashes on Nine and 9GEM is high for them, while the split of 9GEM and Nine now are shown for Perth (33,000 and 52,000), as I said Seven don’t do that though with the AFL.

So yeah my second and third comments could have waited as Ihad no real idea until the update happens, but eh you get the idea now 🙂
