Michael C. Hall features in a new Netflix movie thriller In the Shadow of the Moon, this time as police pursue a serial killer (instead of him just playing one).

It stars Boyd Holbrook & Cleopatra Coleman.

In 1988, Philadelphia police officer Thomas Lockhart (Boyd Holbrook), hungry to become a detective, begins tracking a serial killer who mysteriously resurfaces every nine years. But when the killer’s crimes begin to defy all scientific explanation, Locke’s obsession with finding the truth threatens to destroy his career, his family, and possibly his sanity. Directed by Jim Mickle and also starring Michael C. Hall and Cleopatra Coleman, In the Shadow of the Moon is a genre-blending psychological thriller that examines the power of time, and how its passing can either bring us together or tear us apart.

Friday September 27 on Netflix.

  1. At first sample In the Shadow of the Moon looks like the ‘Matrix’ meets ‘Fringe’. The production looks good which in recent times is becoming a plus mark for Netflix even if sometimes their stories and standard of acting appear inconsistent and Michael C.Hall is good value (when in the right roles). This show will be another test of Netflix’s published intention to improve content and get better value for money, I shall watch with interest.
