New US comedy-drama Whiskey Cavalier begins tonight on SBS.
The 13 part series centres around FBI and CIA agents and features Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan and Ana Ortiz.
This premiered in the US in February.
FBI agent Will Chase (Scott Foley) and CIA operative Francesca ‘Frankie’ Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan) share custody of an inter-agency team of international superspies.
Whether it’s defusing a suitcase nuke on the subway, flipping a foreign agent or recovering priceless artefacts, this one-of-a-kind team provides a mashup of visceral espionage action, romance, comedy and intrigue in a globe-trotting one-hour action-dramedy with international flair.
Episode One: Pilot
Following an emotional breakup, Chase is assigned to work with badass CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge. Together, they lead an inter-agency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world – and each other – while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance and office politics.
10:25pm Wednesdays on SBS.

I should have been paying closer attention last year…just watched the pilot ep on SBS On Demand and thoroughly enjoyed it. Scott Foley’s just too damn handsome….looks incredibly expensive though, no wonders it only lasted one season, especially if not enough people were watching it.
It’s fun nonsense. Not great, but many worse shows have been picked up.
