Auditions: You Can’t Ask That

ABC has a call-out for both participants / questions from the general public for its insightful show.

Series 5 of the ABC’s award-winning You Can’t Ask That now in production and ABC is on the hunt both for participants and for questions from the general public.

To screen in 2020, it will feature ‘Cheaters’ (infidelity), People on the Autism Spectrum, Nudists, ‘Housos’ (people who live in public housing), Adoptees, Lesbians, People Living with Anxiety, Identical Twins, Families of Missing Persons, People Living with HIV, Accidental Killers and Kids.

Do you have a burning question to ask a nudist, a ‘Houso’ or a cheater? Or maybe you are living with HIV, are an identical twin or have killed someone?

Then we need you for You Can’t Ask That!The You Can’t Ask That team has started production on its fifth series and are asking viewers to submit any of the questions that they have always wanted to ask the misunderstood and marginalised groups that feature on this through-provoking and refreshingly bold series.

The most successful original ABC format in decades, the series will return to ABC and ABC iview in 2020 with eight new episodes. The series confronts prejudice and discrimination by offering searing insights into the lives of diverse Australians who live with judgement and scrutiny. By asking only the hard questions (submitted anonymously online) and allowing interviewees to answer in their own words, the series adds new voices, surprising insights and fresh perspectives to subjects often dismissed.
