Okay, I am confused! Is the show live or just the voting? And if it is not live but voting is live how does it work? Also isn’t other got talent shown live?
As indicated voting is Live. One ending will then be screened according to results. I’m not aware of any Got Talent show being Live anywhere in the world but happy to be corrected.
I thought Britain’s Got Talent has Live Semi Finals and Final. I could be wrong
BGT is usually live except for the current Champions series. Pretty sure Anericas Got Talent usually is too. Ellaborate set changes in a couple of minutes aren’t uncommon in the industry – Australia always been the odd one out really by pre-recording their “live” shows.
It’s almost impossible theses days to find a production crew in Australia that has sufficient expertise in “live” production (other than sport) to risk it. It takes years to build up such team skills (witness GTV9 over the years), but only a few minutes to have it disappear.
If the shows live, why is there alternative endings???
Not live, voting is Live.
That’s f*****g ridiculous!! May as well not have included the live aspect at all. If you’re going to do something live, do it right and do the whole thing live!! Surely we deserve that for a grand final? I already hate how the House Rules grand finals are no longer live like they once were…
AGT has never been Live, if I recall correctly. It requires lots of staging and safety precautions that just rule it out. Hasn’t been advertised as Live.
Pre-recorded winner announcements just deny you the moment completely.
Lol at live voting with alternative endings
Lol i laughed at that.
