Cast attend Secret Bridesmaids Business screening

First screening of upcoming Seven drama is dark, twisted and enthusiastically received.

Actors including Georgina Haig, Alexander England and Annie Jones attended the first cast, crew & media screening of Seven’s upcoming Secret Bridesmaids Business at the Kino Cinemas in Melbourne last night.

The Seven Studios miniseries is based on a play by Elizabeth Coleman, filmed on the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne CBD.

The dark and sometimes twisted drama also features Abbie Cornish and Katie McGrath.

Two episodes screened to the invite audience, and were enthusiastically received.

Seven has high hopes for the project. Executive producer Maryanne Carroll, joined by series producer Amanda Crittenden, said it was the first of more premium dramas to be coming from Seven Studios.

While no airdate was announced chatter suggested Seven would promote it heavily through AFL finals.

Sydney media will attend a screening tonight.
