Jessica Marais drops out of Halifax: Retribution
Jessica Marais was due to reunite with Rebecca Gibney in upcoming Nine drama.

Jessica Marais is no longer appearing in upcoming Nine drama Halifax: Retribution.
In July she was announced as joining former Packed to the Rafters co-star Rebecca Gibney, alongside Anthony LaPaglia, Jacqueline McKenzie, Rick Donald, Hannah Monson and Craig Hall.
According to the Sunday Herald Sun, Marais was to have had a small role in the 8 part series.
A Nine spokesperson said, “Unfortunately the shooting time-frame just did not work with Jessica’s schedule and personal commitments.”
Last year Marais was announced as a key cast member of Nine’s Bad Mothers drama but withdrew to focus on her health.
Meanwhile Seven is pursuing original cast members of Packed to the Rafters for a potential revival for Amazon Prime.
Filming of the final block of Halifax episodes begins in Melbourne today and is set to screen in 2020.

Hope we see Jess back on our screens soon. I do hope all is okay on the home front! Tad concerning is she pulled of Halifax also. A full series commitment I could understand but a small role does cause concern..
