Party of Five: trailer

In the rebooted Party of Five a family of Mexican-American siblings are separated from their parents at the US border.

I’m not sure how I feel about this…

A scene has landed from the rebooted Party of Five which now sees a family of Mexican-American siblings separated from their parents at the US border. That differs significantly to the original series in which the “five” were orphaned after their parents died in a car crash.

The series coms comes from original series’ creators Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman, and stars Brandon Larracuente as Emilio, Emily Tosta as Lucia, Niko Guardado as Beto and Elle Paris Legaspi as Valentina.

Like it or not TV has a habit of reflecting political circumstance in storylines, and this one certainly comments on Trump’s foreign policy. I guess it will help bring a human touch to the issue for middle America?

No Australian broadcaster has been announced as yet.
