Seven has picked up a new eight-part factual series, Outrageous Weddings for 2020.
The 8 part series from UK producers back2back Productions, uses clips and professional videographer wedding footage to explore comical and catastrophic weddings.
It will include everything from “lost grooms and vomit-inducing vicars to country weddings crashed by cows.”
Seven sources indicate this is a low-cost acquisition. Passion Distribution sells the show globally.

Dogs & weddings. It must be Seven.
The good thing about this is that neither viewers or advertisers will be bothered with this show.
Seven has gone to the dogs. They seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync and nothing works
Seven’s Brand new multi channel coming 7Dogs, Coming 2020!
Better yet, 7LOL. “Gotta LOL it”.
Home of such hilarious programmes such as Dogs Make You Laugh Out Loud, Cats Make You Laugh Out Loud, Home and Away Bloopers Make You Laugh Out Loud, and classic episodes of Today Tonight with Naomi Robson.
Seven programmer thanked me for helping to make Cats Make You LOL a hit after my incredulous post went wide.
That was nice of them, I guess. I suppose that wasn’t your intention though. 😛
Seven are literally going to the dogs. How many shows about canines do they want?? Maybe they should rename 7Mate 7Mutt and just dedicate a whole channel to them.
A one-off filler clip show perhaps, but an 8 part series really is scraping the barrel.
This has to be a joke right? 1 episode as filler leading into summer I could understand, but 8 episodes? Expect this to be bumped after one episode.
And Seven are wondering why they are losing their grip on being #1?
