    1. Yeah I read that a few days ago as well, be interesting to see if it is indeed announced in their Upfronts on October 10 as really what MTV is now is kind of what they envisaged 10PEACH to be when they launched it (wonder if The Loop will move there).

Going back in April when Viacom bought streamer Pluto TV (and made it no longer available here), they put specially curated versions of Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and Nick Jr., on there. At that time as the talk of the merger of CBS/Viacom was happening I ponder if we’d end up with a Multi Channel on TEN of a combined Nick Jr., Nickelodeon and Nick At Nite to compete with the ABC ones that often top the Multi Ratings, however it seems not.

TEN are almost in the position to do a Foxtel and have a 10Hits and 10Funny as well once this Viacom merger goes through, pickup up a few of the CW shows, even if just replay rights like…

  1. 10’s been doing well lately with these shows – think that they’re slowly but surely gaining back their former audiences and could soon be the ‘Summer winner’ they had hoped to be last year.

  2. David.

    That’s awesome for 10!

    “Best night”
Meaning highest channel share, highest network share, or most watched in overall viewers for the channel
    Or network?

  3. Very difficult to see why SBS is persisting with ‘Riviera’-‘Bosch’ deserves the earlier slot with the other show bumped to very late night instead-also Sam Bee’s show has been relegated to late night filler territory, not sure why.

  4. Now its no secret I am a big fan of Masked Singer but ohhhhh those constant adds adds adds are really starting to drive me crazy. Nearly enough to turn me off it. I know the judges are going to drive me crazy too !

  5. Good on 10! With 2 channels less that 7, a shame they didn’t win the night.
On another note, is it just me, or does it seem that there are more channels, with more options, but still not a lot that appeals, with a majority of repeats and often unsavoury overseas drivel.

      1. When I’m in a situation where I have live FTA only – like being away for a night and not having workable wifi to stream – I absolutely struggle to find shows to watch or leave on – often ends up just being ABC News 24. It’s particularly hard if you’re not watching any of the nightly realities.

      1. Hope so, they need to keep the pace up through to Dancing With The Stars (Mid Feb again maybe) as if that is anything like last year it deserves better ratings. The Bachelorette should help things along as well, then I’m A Celebrity mid Jan again I’m guessing as if Seven are pinning everything on The Olympics, then next year is their chance.Especially with the Women’s T20 World Cup on Nine from Feb 21st, so that will likely get promoted during the Aust Open which is a week later this year Jan 20th to Feb 02nd, so they can really set-up as the alternative (Cricket on 7).
