Really looking forward to an upcoming History doco, Cola Wars, which traces the history of Coca Cola & Pepsi, spanning origins, marketing, politics, advertising and that New Coke flop in 1985.
This is a 2 hour special filmed for the History channel US.
Traces the long and ferocious rivalry between Coke and Pepsi, centred on the “New Coke” debacle of 1985. For almost a hundred years, Coke had been the undisputed leader in the multibillion dollar global soda industry– stodgy, predictable, but indisputably top dog–while Pepsi had been the upstart No. 2, forever poking at its big brother with cutting edge advertising. But in 1985, in a stranger-than-fiction twist, Coca-Cola’s executives took a step so daring that no one in either company could believe it: they changed the formula of the most popular beverage on the planet.

Pepsi is the much better one.! And on top of all that it even has better drinks in their lists like for example Mountain Dew is the best/my favourite drink and Coca Cola can never compete with that amazing drink. Even Sunkist is better than Fanta, Solo is better than Lift. Anyways Pepsi is a much better drink and also love Mountain Dew…… (had to say it again)
I really don’t understand the attraction of Coca-Cola – it doesn’t even tasted like Cola – Pepsi does!
