New US mystery Nancy Drew is launching with little fanfare on 10 Peach next week.
The series based on a sleuth created by publisher Edward Stratemeyer stars Kennedy McMann as Nancy Drew.
After 18-year-old Nancy Drew’s college plans are put on hold, she finds herself involved in a ghostly mystery when she and her four friends are witnesses (and suspects) to a murder, and team up to find the person responsible.
It also features Scott Wolf as Nancy’s widowed father.
This is the third Nancy Drew series, following The Hardy Boys / Nancy Drew Mysteries (1977–1979) and a 1995 Canadian-American version.
It premiered earlier this month on The CW.
It kicks off with a double episode 9pm Thursday on 10 Peach

Ok so it was a second rate attempted clone of Veronica Mars, buying the name Nancy Drew to avoid getting sued by Rob Thomas.
Still no Word on when the New Season of “Charmed” Will Return to Channel 10 Peach ?
The new series is streaming on 10 All Access, no doubt buried in a late night slot on Peach some time in the future.
I wonder how Pamela Sue Martin feels? The CW now has two rebooted series where the original featured the lovely and talented Ms Martin. I think it’s again a case of I’d rather see the original again, for me anyway.
Seeing as how she’s in the pilot episode I’d say she’s okay with the new series.
oh wow. i didn’t know that.
Disney also shot a pilot with Maggie Lawson in 2002 that wasn’t picked up but has aired on cable here. So the only first run show on Peach clashes with the only first run show on Bold (Seal Team). Guess they’d prefer people to watch 10 play than their TV network.
I have lost interest….not what I thought it was going to be…
