A social media campaign is underway to get Judith Lucy cast as the next Bachelorette.
Over 5000 signatories have joined in the Change.org petition, created by Nelly Thomas after listening to a talk-back radio caller share the idea on Virginia Trioli’s ABC Radio show.
“Time to get this woman back in the game with some quality Aussie blokes,” the petition states.
“They’ll be lining up- and at their age they’re probably not ever trawling for Insta followers!”
According to the petition’s creator, “Judith is utterly bemused by this petition and has no idea what is going on, but she has given it the green light.”

No way that I would watch it if she was in the show. I find her and Kitty Flanagan two of the most irritating people on TV. I love most Aussie comedy. Just another silly idea, I suspect that the people who have signed would not even bother watching the show. Too many of these silly ideas able to con even more people than ever watch TV

Love Judith Lucy, love watching the Bachelor/ Bachelorette and love this idea!
She could approach it the same way that Tom Gleeson approached the Gold Logie.
This would be hilarious, though guaranteed they’d have to rate the show MA and push it to 8.30pm given her kind of humour. Could be funny though!
The unfunniest woman on TV… in the tackiest concept on TV. Marriage made in heaven and deserve each other.

It would be great TV to see her in natural state. Im no fan of her brand of humour but I would watch her in that scenario.
I’ve never watched Bachelor/Bachelorette, but know enough about it from promos etc. I would watch if Judith was in it.
