Darren McMullen unmasked as singing prawn
He had been widely rumoured to be on the show but none of the judges had Darren McMullen pegged as 10's Prawn.

Former Voice host and House Husbands actor Darren McMullen was unmasked as the Prawn on 10’s Masked Singer last night.
McMullen had been widely rumoured after hints about UK heritage, favourite sports, and assorted hints. Amongst the hints were him spending a lot of time around the house, and enjoying a change of sea-nery. … McMullen has been acting in the rebooted, relocated SeaChange.
None of the embarrassed judges had him pegged. Lindsay Lohan, you are forgiven.
When asked by host Osher Günsberg on why he wanted to join the show, McMullen said: “My whole life I’ve wanted to sing and be on stage. If I could do that somehow with a mask and hidden behind this prawn…that would be a good opportunity.”
Last night the Lion, Robot and Wolf all proceeded, while Monster, Spider, Dragon and Unicorn take to the stage tonight.

I’m beginning to think this show is either rigged or they need better judges.Firstly when giving clues almost everyone has an Australian accent yet still they say it’s some big Hollywood Star. Second, don’t tell me not one of the judges could think it sounds like Deni Hines or Rob Mills, when they have such distinct voices. Deni’s voice is quite unique .
Well, they’re probably under the impression that everyone (or most of them) are throwing their accents and voices.
Love reading your page everyday. Is there any chance you could make the headline for the Masked Singer less of a spoiler? Am watching a couple of days behind.
Hi, I don’t file every singer reveal, and in each case I’ve waited until next day before filing. I do take the view that once it has aired it is no longer a spoiler but news, and widely reported on multiple sites. Those kinds of changes also affect photo, SEO, search and archive, social media, so where a viewer is swimming against the stream, so to speak, the onus really falls on them. Hopefully after tonight’s ep you have a week to rejoin the stream!
Poor Lindsay hasn’t stood a chance with any of the reveals so far, and if the guesses for the remaining singers are anything to go by she will be at an even bigger disadvantage. I know we all saw it coming when she was announced, but it’s still so awkward.
The ridiculous guesses from the panel are getting on my nerves (Nicole Kidman ?), and the editing is terrible. They should consider a live telecast for series 2.
I hope we get to a big name reveal soon. Kinda getting disappointing with the reveals so far. On the American version last week it was Muhammad Ali’s daughter Laila as the big reveal on just the second night.
I think Gladys Knight or Donny Osmond we’re the biggest reveals
Yes that was in the first season. They were both great. Their second season started three weeks ago.

It is indeed Gorgi. Fact. Yesterday’s clues about Shania Twain prove it. Gorgi used to be in a Shania Twain tribute show. Surely the judges can go home and google these things. I found it, so why can’t they.?

After last night I’m now convinced that the Robot is Cody Simpson. The wolf is so obvious that it’s Rob Mills, can pick that voice a mile away.
I’m fairly sure the Lion is Kate Ceberano but I can also picture Tziporah Malkah under that costume.

The swimming medals were a dead giveaway for Cody Simpson. He was a National ranked swimmer when he was a teenager
I can’t believe none of the panel have guessed Deni Hines is the Unicorn. Starting to have doubts that Lion is Kate Ceberano too, now thinking KAK ?!
Pretty sure it’s Kate Ceberano. Thre’s no hiding her distinctive voice and she started her singing career very young with ‘I’m Talking’ and as a backing singer for ‘The Models’.
(Hence the clue with the pics of all the 80s models). She’s also won a Logie and is the right body type.
Tick. Also other clues: Brave / Factor / Eyes. But no disguising her vocal tone, same as Deni. Judges should be fired, or perhaps told to throw in red herrings!

Yes, Deni’s voice is also very unique and unmistakable and the clues fit- she’s definitely the Unicorn. The judges do appear annoyingly clueless a lot of the time but likely they’ve been instructed to throw in lots of red herrings..
It’s 100% Kate and she has one two Logies for music videos in the early 90’s
I kind of feel like the hints are kind of loose and too obvious the further we get in… McMullen was no surprise whatsoever.
I thought the Prawn was Kris Smith from Day 1.

Wrong Hines, Kate Ceberano for sure.
I think it was supposed to get easier as the competition progressed, though I don’t think the producers expected us to guess so many of the celebrities so quickly. Maybe next season they’ll make it the hints more harder.?
