Sports presenter Neroli Meadows has been dropped by FOX Sports, reportedly due to cost-cutting measures.

Across the channels she has presented for both AFL and Cricket, including On the Mark, Women’s Footy on FOX, AFL Tonight. plus ICC Cricket World Cup coverage.

Meadows has been with FOX Sports for over 7 years.

She began her career in sports journalism as the weekend sports producer at 6PR Perth before four years on Today Tonight She was also a panel member on Before the Game.

Earlier this year she was also part of Nine’s revamped Footy Show, but that was also axed after seven episodes.

  1. Universal praise for Meadows and condemnation of Foxtel on social media for dropping a standout performer. It’s beyond belief they’d save money by ditching her and keeping some of the ex footy players who can barely string a coherent sentence together.

  2. Oh wow. I admired the way she went about things with her coverage of the Footy.

    I also remember her being a panelist on a few episodes of HYBPA early days too.

  3. This is a big surprise. Nez is a brilliant interviewer, speaker and has a great knowledge of sport. All the shows she is a part of she succeeded in.

    I’m sure she will be snapped up by another network, a bit silly by fox sports to drop a talent like that.
