ABC comedy drama Diary of an Uber Driver is being adapted by new German streaming platform, Joyn.
The series produced by Revlover Films stars Sam Cotton as an Uber driver Ben who tries to figure out what he should be doing while helping others get where they’re going. It is a based on the popular blog and e-book of the same name by Ben Phillips.
All3Media-owned Bon Voyage Films will produce the remake, with filming taking place in Hamburg with
Kostja Ullmann (A Most Wanted Man, Tatort) as Ben.
All3Media International supported the original project and has been shopping the format at Mipcom in Cannes.

This (along with the Masked Singer) was my favourite new show this year. Such a simple premise but Sam Cotton was fantastic.
A definite surprise package. I would also recommend Robbie Hood on SBS.
