Metro Sexual: trailer

A trailer has been released for upcoming 9GO! comedy shorts Metro Sexual.

The series starring Geraldine Hickey and Riley Nottingham is set in a disaster-prone Metro Sexual Health Clinic.

They are joined by a guest cast including Ryan Shelton, Joel Creasey, Clayton Jacobson, Jo Stanley, Toby Truslove, John Flaus, Candy Bowers, Brenda Palmer, David Paterson, Urvi Majumdar, Rebecca Massey and David Tulk.

An airdate is yet to be announced.

Filmed in a mockumentary format the 8 x 10 minute series will follow the lives of sardonic and seemingly-aloof Stephanie (Geraldine Hickey) and bubbly, customer service-driven Langdon (Riley Nottingham), as they navigate government cuts, crab outbreaks and schoolies seasons.

It is no laughing matter that between 2013 and 2017, the notification rate of infectious syphilis increased 135% from 7.8 per 100,000 in 2013 to 18.3 per 100,000 in 2017, with an increase in both men (119%) and women (309%). Metro Sexual delivers laughs from some of Australia’s brightest comedic talents alongside informed conversations about sexual health.
