9GO! is the No.1 commercial multichannel for audiences under 40.

Today we look at Nine’s three multichannels.

9GO! is the No.1 commercial multichannel in 2019 for audiences under 40 and Grocery Buyers with Children. 9GEM targets older viewers but also contains Sport while 9Life is a female-skewing channel.

Since the last survey Nine also hosted YourMoney channel but discontinued it from May.

BRAND IDENTITY: 9GO! is for the young, and the young-at-heart, offering a line-up of fun, fresh entertainment, reality, comedy and blockbuster movies.

TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC: People 16-39 and Kids.

RATINGS / PERFORMANCE: 9GO! is the No.1 commercial multichannel in 2019 for audiences under 40 and GB+CH

RECENT SUCCESS STORIES: The return of the Wonderful World of Disney on Friday has been a great success for the channel peaking with the Lion King at 243,000 viewers.

    1. Yes I agree. Why can’t they be general entertainment format channels.Too much protection of the main channel. Come on guys more quality on the channels.

    1. Hi Oktayne.. these are surveys I’ve been conducting for 8 years as a Q+A style, so it isn’t up to me to rewrite. I issue the same questions to each network. They all put their best foot forward, which is fine. It’s good to turn the spotlight onto multis once a year. Hope that helps explain.

  2. Wasn’t 9Life in MPEG-4? Did that change to MPEG-2 like 7Flix did? Also I find it a bit odd how they didn’t mention 9GemHD in the “Format/Tech Playout” section. Does that mean 9GemHD is still just a temporary channel like it was originally reported to be?
