6 Comments:

  1. I’m really enjoying Viceland, it’s great seeing the X-Files each night and they often have classic and unusual movies, along with good documentaries.

  2. ‘World Movies’ has been a bit of a disappointment so far-many, many repeats of films that have been shown on the original channels over the years and how many times do we need to see the inferior remake of ‘Whisky Galore’ in a month for example?

  3. I think SBS World Movies has been a great addition to free-to-air this year as it fulfills the SBS charter and aids in cultural awareness and understanding with English subtitles for foreign films.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints from satellite feeds and strict licensing issues, it is still not possible for SBS to provide English subtitles for their foreign language news broadcasts on SBS and SBS Viceland.
