  1. So disappointing, tuned in at 6:30pm here in Adelaide as advertised to see OneRepublic’s performance, only for the broadcast to cut in half way through their second song.

  2. hey David if nine advertise a start time of 7:30pm but dont start at that time is that false advertising cause the AFL start time is the start time yet nine start games late always

    1. Starting times have long been a point of contention for TV audiences, and I once hosted a crowd-sourcing “Late List” to name and shame the worst offenders. Even in recent months I have asked some networks to avoid press releases that state 8:30 when their guide says 8:40. To answer you question, Nine would probably argue the broadcast is from 7:30 while the match may be separate. I doubt you would have a legit complaint with Consumer Affairs.

      1. And what about EPGs, which are meant to be even more accurate (to the minute and on some TVs to the second), compared with promo/print/online guides?

Seven, ABC, SBS and for the most part 10 (except 7:30pm reality) for a number of years are spot on with EPG. (e.g.) 8:37pm and bang on.

Nine are never correct, always behind, often 10-15min out (e.g.) tuning-in for Footy Classified for 9:35 on EPG and waiting until 9:50 or 10pm and waiting for 10:20pm, among many other offences.

        Have you observed?

        1. i find the worse are the prerecorded reality shows which they cannot edit into the time slot , if thats the case make the time slot 1 and a half hours and not 1 hour
