With the closure of BBC Knowledge, the TopGear brand drives to a new home.

Top Gear is driving from its home on BBC Knowledge to UKTV channel.

With BBC Knowledge making way for BBC Earth from October 10, Top Gear will be seen in a weekly slot on UKTV from 15th October.

UKTV will kick off with a selection of retro specials which see presenters take on challenges across the Middle East and Patagonia.

An airdate for the new season is yet to be announced.

Ten series (Series 16-25) will also be available to stream On-Demand on Foxtel via internet connected iQ3 and iQ4 boxes, on devices with Foxtel Go, and via Foxtel Now.

  1. I’m not a Top Gear viewer but I was wondering what was going to happen to it given when BBC started its international rollout of BBC Earth replacing BBC Knowledge they also launched BBC Brit to be the new home of factals like Top Gear. But when Foxtel announced Earth but not Brit I was thinking something had gone sideways. Given Brit has launched on Fetch though it makes me wonder if Foxtel were just tight not wanting to launch any new third party channels.
