A Plate of Origin problem
A most unfortunate title has a whiff about it...

Yikes… there’s some speculation that the name Plate of Origin has already been -ahem- dumped due to an awkward acronym: POO.
The Australian reports Kurt Burnette, Seven’s chief revenue officer, admitted he had already made his executives aware of the unfortunate “POO” acronym.
Also aligned to the name is MKR, with suggestions Seven has been marketing it to advertisers as My Kitchen Rules: Plate of Origin. That’s despite Matt Preston insisting he would not be co-hosting MKR for Seven.
Produced by Seven Studios, Plate of Origin was announced two weeks ago with Preston, Gary Mehigan and Manu Feildel in a battle of international cuisines.

POO on a plate…lol
MKR : POO lol.
I have a feeling this is going to crash and burn bad. I hope Gary and Matt got some decent coin for this!
Why would they attach the MKR name to it? Just why? MKR is on it’s deathbed this isn’t gonna do any favors to Plate of Origin…
So Seven still think MKR is a viable name or are they just trying to cash in on Matt & Gary being in a show with MKR in the titkke so they can sell it to India & all the other 100 or os countries where MasterChef is a hit?
Matt has been very vocal about not hosting MKR so this could put POO injeopardy
How about Plate of Samples aka POS.
stupid. they should embrace it. could get get media prominence from some journalists proud of a punny headline.
That is unAustralian… accept the acronym with perverse pride.
