  1. The Bachelorette…..oh dear….what a choice…..TiMM with 2 m’s, nearly as bad as jezza with 2x zz. And Carlin….isn’t that a beer in the UK?

  2. Love Island is simply boring. The Bachelorette has been entertaing. Playing for keeps deserves better ratings, this just gets better each episode, but fear no season 3 with low ratings…

  3. Love Island is a binge show with a long shelf life. The first few episodes will all be probs around 800k by now. It’s a show for a demo who don’t watch TV. Nine will be happy.

      1. For me Love Island was interesting with new people coming and going and recoupling. I think they set the couples in stone too early and it made the past few episodes too stagnant and predictable. There will probably be a spike in the finale but I can understand why the numbers have dropped down from same time last week.

    1. “Nine will be happy” but advertisers not so. “Nine Entertainment has flagged a lower first-half result after revenue from capital city free-to-air TV advertising fell by 6.4 per cent in the first quarter and flagged a second-quarter drop by at least as much again.”(MSN, Herald)

  4. The later timeslot for Years & Years this week didn’t really do it any favours. I’d be curious to see how it goes in Timeshifted figures, if it gets anywhere near close to the lift that shows like the Handmaid’s Tale got for SBS.

    1. While I find the Four Star rise of fascism part interesting, the vile and unlikable family are a definite drag-would have been far better focused on he Viv part as dialectic.

      1. Is it? Are we supposed to believe that Rook gets 52 seats in a Parliament of 650 and suddenly has control. The 5 Star Movement was the largest party in the Italian election but the other parties just formed a Government without them. As for Fascist there are far right nationalist parties advocating violence against foreigners in most European parliament, they don’t get tis very inconsistent.

  5. Great planning from channel 9 having the finale on the same night. Not that it would really matter, it’s all about the 9 now app.
Love island has gotten boring and predictable towards the end anyways..
