Benjamin Law to write for New Gold Mountain

SBS has released further details around 2020 local drama, New Gold Mountain created by Peter Cox.

The 4 part series is described as a “revisionist Western” and murder mystery, directed by Ana Kokkinos (The Hunting, Head On).

Produced by Goalpost Television, this is the untold true story of the Australian gold rush from the perspective of Chinese miners who risked everything for a chance at unlikely wealth in a strange land.

Production on the series commences in 2020 and will be filmed in Victoria. Cast announcements will follow in the coming months.
